Prior to joining the MASL in an administrative role for the 2019-2020 season, Jesse spent the better part of the previous two decades providing outsourced administrative, COO, and CFO services to various for-profit and non-profit organizations in, and outside of, the sports industry. Ryan began refereeing professional indoor soccer with the NPSL in 1999 and continues today as one of the most experienced active on-field officials with over 250 games as a Referee… • Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Alabama Birmingham in Psychology and was a Division I Student Athlete in baseball. He became an indoor soccer fan in 1984 when the original Dallas Sidekicks were founded in the original MISL. He has worked as an adjunct professor of sports law at Hamline University School of Law and as a guest lecturer for St. Thomas Law and William Mitchell College of Law. Most recently Jeff spent time at Cumulus Media in San Francisco where he managed and position clients around the San Francisco Giants, 49ers, Earthquakes, Cal Bears and Stanford Cardinal game day broadcasts. During that time, he's used his wealth of accumulated knowledge and detailed follow-through to help small to midsize companies grow more efficiently and effectively.Jesse was born and raised outside of Minneapolis, MN, where he currently resides with his wife and two sons. He was a U.S. Soccer National Referee from 1998 – 2006, his experience while holding the National badge included MLS, A-League, and USL as well as a collegiate soccer official. He resumed those duties when the team was relaunched in the PASL in 2012 through 2017. He is currently a practicing attorney at Gutwein Law, LLP and is based out of Minneapolis, MN. Jeff was able to create, implement and grow the Corporate Partnerships program by 300%. Jon is a graduate of LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY where he was a member of the men's soccer team.Jon enjoys following US Soccer, MLS, EPL, and is a life long Syracuse Orange Basketball fan.
Outside of work and sports, Jon has a passion for music, biking, friends, family, great food, and the outdoors. Proud of his family business, The CNY Family Sports Centre, he played a key role in the indoor/outdoor sports facility becoming the most successful of its kind in Upstate New York.
He has worked in the Kansas City sports scene since 2006 with the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network, Kansas City Royals Radio, and most recently, the Kansas City T-Bones.Jeff grew up in Denver, Colorado but now lives in Olathe, KS with his wife and two kids. As states and counties lift COVID-19 lockdowns, parents and kids are taking steps back to normal life. Ryan is also the NCAA National Coordinator of Soccer Officiating, a US Soccer National Referee Coach, a member of PRO’s assessor staff and he chairs the USYS Referee Committee. Prior to working with the league he was one of the founding members and General Manager of the Syracuse Silver Knights (2011-2014). He currently works for FedEx as a Worldwide Account Sales Manager.Alan begins his 4th season as the MASL's League Statistician.
