Joy thinks he was in true character trying to pick up a girl and then this 5 yr old little girl comes by and thanks him for the candy. I don't think this was originally a Hallmark movie, but it checks all the boxes. With Bethany Joy Lenz, Andrew W. Walker, Belinda Montgomery, John B. Lowe. Andrew Walker is a marvelous actor, with a vast store of acting talent..He has a range of facial expressions, delivers dialogue with appropriate feeling, and is extremely attractive and appealing..In all his movies, he offers a true depiction of his character..There is never anything bland or repetitious about his acting...Bethany Joy Lenz is gifted in any role she undertakes. Yes...if you are sick of the glut of banal Hallmark style romance movies that come out at this time of year that use Christmas as a setting to try to suck viewers in to watching them, you will be very pleasantly surprised with this one. That for me is what makes a Christmas movie special. One feature of this type of movie that might be thought about more carefully by the writers or producers is the cliche moment when the male and female leads are a moment away from their first kiss..the heroine's ex always appears. Very enjoyable, I will watch again. They hooked me right in to the predictable story line.

True, it is a romance movie, but it is also one of the rare ones that sews Christmas magic into the fabric of the film. This movie was simply heartwarming. Both leads are amazing actors, they play well off each other. It felt very natural. Other that White Christmas (the exception) I want to see Christmas magic...fantasy, escapism, wonderment. Because of the two lead characters, however, Snowed-In Christmas transcends.
