David Dunn (Willis) is taking a train from New York City back home to Philadelphia after a job interview that didn't go well when his car jumps the tracks and collides with an oncoming engine, with David the only survivor among the 131 passengers on board.
After years of development on a follow-up film, a thematic sequel, David challenges Elijah's theory with an incident from his childhood when he almost drowned. Elijah believes they are destined to become each other's nemesis and adopts his childhood nickname, "Mr. Glass," as his In October 2018, M.
